A Trusted Team

The Rhyl Neighbourhood Board is a collaborative effort aimed at enhancing the seaside resort of Rhyl. The board's mission is to develop a long-term vision for funding from the UK Government's Plan for Neighbourhoods, focusing on creating a better future for Rhyl and regenerating the town. The board's strategy includes a £20 million regeneration plan that aims to create employment, improve infrastructure, and remove barriers to opportunity. The board's team consists of residents, business owners, politicians, council officers, and grassroots campaigners working in partnership to implement a long-term vision for the coastal community.

Mae Bwrdd Cymdogaeth Y Rhyl yn ymdrech gydweithredol sydd wedi'i hanelu at wella gwersyll glan môr Y Rhyl. Nod y bwrdd yw datblygu gweledigaeth hirdymor ar gyfer ariannu o Gynllun y Llywodraeth Brydeinig ar gyfer Cymdogaethau, gan ganolbwyntio ar greu dyfodol gwell i Y Rhyl a hail-lunio'r dre. A long term vision and plan for our community.

Pride in Place

The Plan for Neighbourhoods programme (Pride in Place) intends to invest £20m of funding into Rhyl as part of the UK Pride in Place strategy (25% revenue and 75% capital).

The eight themes of the programme are:


  • Regeneration, High Streets and Heritage
  • Housing
  • Work, Productivity and Skills
  • Cohesion
  • Health and Wellbeing
  • Transport
  • Safety and Security
  • Education and Opportunity


These fall into the three overarching strategic objectives of the programme:

 

Thriving Places

Regenerating town centres and neighbourhoods to reflect the needs and habits of the community.

Stronger Communities

Tackling root causes of deprivation, rebuilding relationships, and restoring a collective sense of belonging.

Taking back Control

Empowering people to enter the workplace, workers to progress and businesses to grow.
